An excellent example of a WWII Australian Issue Machete, often referred to as a Machete 15 Inch in Australian Army parlance. Beautifully marked with a DD Broadarrow and dated 1944. These machetes, especially in this condition, are quite difficult to find on this side of the globe. This machete is blade marked with D (broadarrow) D with DC 1944 underneath. The DC indicates that this particular example was fabricated
